I am a photographer from the Midwest, now living in East Boston. I’m drawn to the idea of bridging the gap between the familiar and the unfamiliar through my photographs. Traveling for me has opened up opportunities to explore diverse cultures, landscapes and experiences. I feel that by highlighting the familiar aspects within the unfamiliar, we can better understand and appreciate each other. Seeing something familiar can be a catalyst for bringing people together. It’s often those moments of recognition and understanding that pave the way for meaningful connections.
